Bulk Transfer - Practice Split/Closure

When there is a practice split and the patients affected are being transferred out, you need to run the Bulk De-registration upload. You need to create a group of the patients affected by the split. This group is then used when running the upload.

The patients in the group have the following message added to their SCR "Patient registration ended (date of deduction displays). GP Summary no longer being updated." and a transaction sent from Registration Links to request the patients are transferred out.

If the practice is closing, consider running the Practice No Longer Contributing upload, which sends an updated SCR with a note that the practice is not longer contributing to SCR.
