Quantity matching
With the use of the unit of measure DM+D codes in the prescription barcode, the process of entering the quantity to dispense can be automated, where possible.
The system will compare the product(s) present in the prescription barcode message and the product(s) selected by you to dispense. If the unit of measure DM+D code values are the same, the quantity box on the Dispensary tab will filled without you having to input anything. However, in the interests of clinical safety, it will remain editable.

System settings will dictate the number of labels to be printed for multiple packs. See Labelling for multiple packs for more details.
If the system is configured for a dispensing robot, quantity matching functionality cannot be used.
