Searching, Sorting and Filtering Registers

Searching Registers

Throughout the Pharmacy Operations screens you can easily search for specific Drug Registers or for free text within a register:

To search for a specific Drug Register:

  1. From either the Controlled Drug Registers or Returned Drug Registers screen, enter the search term into Search drugs, the table updates as you type:

  2. Select to remove the filter:

To search for any free text across entries in a Drug Register:

  1. Enter the search text in Search entries, the table updates as you type:

  2. Select to remove the filter:

Sorting Registers

Throughout the Pharmacy Operations screens you can easily sort Drug Registers or entries within a Drug Register:

To sort Drug Registers on either the Controlled Drug Registers or the Returned Drug Registers select the column heading to sort either ascending/A-Z or descending/Z-A :

To sort entry dates in either the Drug Registers as ascending or descending, simply select Date (Desc) and select the required order:

Filtering Registers

Select the topic below to expand:

To filter the Drug Register entries select FILTER and the Filters pane displays:

  1. Filter the entries by one or both of the following:

    • Date Filter - Enter the From and To dates to view drug entries within a particular date range.

    • Entry Type - Select the entry type required, you can select multiple entry types if required.

  2. Select APPLY to display the filtered entries or CLEAR ALL  to clear the filters.

  3. The filters display on the Drug Register screen, select the filter to remove it:
