If an item has been discontinued, a small calendar icon
will display at the left
of the product in the ordering screen.
If the product is a generic, an alternative manufacturer may be available. To change manufacturer of the generic on order:
Highlight the product on order;
Click the Details button;
Press the Change button.
This will list all suppliers for the selected product.
Highlight an alternative supplier and press OK.
This will order the alternative manufacturer of the same product from the existing Order Set.
Not all makes will be available from all wholesalers.
