Product file - Tariff tab

The Tariff tab shows you a summary of the drug tariff information for the item. The system uses this to calculate endorsements and to check the item upon dispensing, such as which prescribers can supply etc. You cannot change the information you see here, it just shows you the base information.

 

New medicine service

NMS is an advanced service available in England. The list of eligible products is maintained centrally. In normal circumstances, any updates in the scope of eligible products will be provided as part of you periodic data updates. Consequently, access to the setting is disabled (it is greyed out)

 

However, if it is necessary to make an alteration to the NMS status of a product before a periodic update is received, you can do this once the  system administration key has been entered.
