Reviewing and Publishing Changes

Any changes made to a formulary must be reviewed and published before they can be used in a clinical setting. To review and publish the changes made to a formulary since it was last published:

  1. From the Formulary Management screen, double click on a formulary to display the content.

  2. From the formulary view, select Review changes .

  3. A list of all the changes made since the last publication displays:

    Select from the following options:

    • Publish - This immediately publishes the formulary, and Review Changes becomes inactive until further changes are made. If you are a parent organisation, for example, a Health Board, updates are made available to all those practices that subscribe to this formulary.

    • Undo all - This removes all the changes. The 'Undo all. All the changes made since the formulary was last published will be permanently deleted. Are you sure you want to undo all.' alert displays, select Undo all to proceed:

    • Continue Editing - This returns you to the Formulary Management view and changes remain unpublished.

Before publishing, changes can be reversed one by one, simply hover over the line you want to change and the Undo option displays, select to reverse the update:

See Managing Formularies for details.
