Common Actions within Consultation Manager

The following can be used throughout the Consultation Manager tabs:

  • Sort data - To sort the data on a tab you can either:
    • Click on the column header to sort the patient's data entries by that column. The faint arrow on the column header shows which way they are sorted, either ascending or descending
    • Right click and select to sort by either:
      • Read Code,
      • Type of Data or
      • Description.
  • Display details - To view the - Display screen of an entry:
    • Double click on an entry, or
    • Right click on an entry and select Item View. .
  • Edit - To update an entry, right click on it and select Edit. Update the entry as required and then select OK to save your changes.
  • Add - To add data to a patient record either:
    • Right click on data of the type you want to add and select Add, an - Add screen of the same type displays ready for completing in the usual way.
    • Press Esc on your keyboard to toggle an - Add screen ready for completing in the usual way.
  • Copy - To copy an entry, right click on it and select Copy. If Copy is not available, this means the item is not valid for copying purposes and you need to add the item from scratch.
  • Cancel - Selecting Cancel at any stage whilst completing a screen, aborts the process.
  • Hide an - Add screen - To hide an - Add screen and then return to it, for example to see more information on the screen, click on the list above the - Add screen and press the + key, press + again to reinstate the - Add screen.
  • Floating toolbar - Click, hold and drag an item to display the Floating toolbar, you can then drop the item on the option required, see Dragging and Dropping in Consultation Manager for details.
  • Delete - To delete a line, right click on it and select Delete. A - Delete screen displays, select Delete to confirm.
