Closing a Consultation
After entering clinical details, you can close a consultation by either:
- Selecting the next patient, you do not need to manually close the first consultation, as selecting the next patient deselects the current patient, and their consultation automatically closes.
- Selecting Close Consultation
, - Pressing Shift+F7 on your keyboard.
- Selecting Consultation - Close Consultation.
This records the End Time for the consultation, and from the Start Time, calculates the Duration of the consultation.
In Consultation - Options - Setup, you can choose to deselect a patient automatically when a consultation is closed, see Consultation Manager Setup - Consultation for details.
