Recording Resuscitation
To record resuscitation in the patient's record one of the following clinical terms should be used:
- 1R00. For attempted cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- 1R10. Not for attempted CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation).
- 9NgV. Not aware of do not attempt cardiopulmonary resuscitation clinical decision.
- 1R1.. Not for resuscitation.
- 1R0.. For Resuscitation.
The latest resuscitation code added to the patient's record is automatically included in their SCR, any previous entries are removed from the SCR.
Note - Previous resuscitation codes recorded in the patient record cannot be manually added to the SCR.
