Control Panel

Control Panel brings many of the all the set up and maintenance functions of Vision 3 together in one place.

This includes:

  • Mail Maintenance - To add and maintain staff actions, action status and access rights to messages in Mail Manager, see Mail Maintenance for details.
  • File Maintenance - To add and maintain practice staff, staff groups, practice details and organisations, for example, hospitals, departments, consultants and trading partners, see An Introduction to File Maintenance for details.
  • Eventlog Viewer - A record of the workstations, users and events, for example, access to the system, software updates.
  • System Status - To view the current status of either a workstation or a user.
  • Security - To give practice staff the right to use the various aspects of Vision 3, including passwords, defaults, groups and access rights, see Security for details.

Control Panel is structure like the familiar Outlook framework. Within this, each option has an interface with a left-hand tree view, a List view on the right and in some cases, a details pane underneath:
