Working Across Multiple Sites During Enhanced Security Roll-Out

If you work with Vision 3 in multiple practices/locations, the staggered roll-out of Enhanced Security in some countries may result in the following scenario:

The Enhanced Security roll out reaches Location A:

  • Location A - Enhanced Security is switched on, you therefore log into Vision 3 using your NHS email address and password.

  • Location B - Enhanced Security is not yet switched on, you therefore select or enter your Login Name at the Vision 3 Front Screen and then enter your password.

  • Location C - Enhanced Security is not yet switched on, you therefore select or enter your Login Name at the Vision 3 Front Screen and then enter your password.

The Enhanced Security roll out reaches Location B:

  • Location A - Enhanced Security is switched on, you therefore log into Vision 3 using your NHS email address and password.

  • Practice B - Enhanced Security is then switched on, you therefore log into Vision 3 in the same way as you log in to Location A using your NHS email address and password.

  • Location C - Enhanced Security is not yet switched on, you therefore select or enter your Login Name at the Vision 3 Front Screen and then enter your password.

The Enhanced Security roll out reaches Location C:

  • Location A - Enhanced Security is switched on, you therefore log into Vision 3 using your NHS email address and password.

  • Practice B - Enhanced Security is then switched on, you therefore log into Vision 3 in the same way as you log in to Location A using your NHS email address and password.

  • Practice C - Enhanced Security is then switched on, you therefore log into Vision 3 in the same way as you log in to Location A using your NHS email address and password.

Your Health Board are controlling the staggered roll-out of Enhanced Security and will notify you of deployment dates.
