Recording Resuscitation

To record resuscitation in the patient's record one of the following Read codes should be used:

1R00. For attempted cardiopulmonary resuscitation
1R10. Not for attempted CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
9NgV. Not aware of do not attempt cardiopulmonary resuscitation clinical decision
1R1.. Not for resuscitation
1R0.. For Resuscitation

The latest resuscitation code added to the patient's record is automatically included in their SCR, any previous entries are removed from the SCR.

Note - Previous resuscitation codes recorded in the patient record cannot be manually added to the SCR.
