School and Sixth Form College

You can name the school which schoolchildren attend and this will be displayed in the Journal.

First make sure the schools are entered in Control Panel. Go to Management Tools - Control Panel - File Maintenance - Organisation - School. Enter the details of each school.

Log into Consultation Manager and select the patient. If you add Read Code 13Z4.00 Schooling, scroll down the Read list and select type of school. Then select the School name from the drop down list. The entry will be displayed in the Journal with school name. (Note that you can also enter Schooling from the CHS Management Plan or Summary).

You can record that a patient attends a sixth form college in History Add - use Read code ZP12600 Attends sixth form college, and add the school name in the Comment field. This displays in the Journal as 'attending sixth form college [name of college]'.
