Repeat Masters on the De-registration of Patients
When you deduct a patient in Registration Links, all of their active Repeat Masters are automatically inactivated. The inactivation reason defaults to Patient de-registered.
Note - This does not apply to Batch repeats, Repeat Dispensing or CMS Repeats (Scotland) they must be inactivated manually.
In the following scenarios you must manually inactive active Repeat Masters:
- Registration Links - If a patient's record is locked whist deducting a record in Registration Links, the following message displays: 'Deduction succeeded for this patient, but this application was unable to check for or inactivate any active repeats. If this is the case you need to manually de-activate the repeat(s).'
- Security Deduct - If a patient's record is locked whilst processing a Security Deduction, the following message displays: 'Security Deduct succeeded for this patient, but this application was unable to check for or inactivate any active repeats. If this is the case you need to manually deactivate the repeat(s).'
