Activating Acute Medication Service (AMS)
Acute Medication Service (AMS) needs to be switched on and you are advised how to do this at the appropriate time.
For AMS messages to be created:
- A patient must have a valid CHI number recorded in Registration, see CHI Number in the Registration Help Centre for details if required, and
- Advanced printing must be enabled, see Switching on Advanced Printing for details if required.
