Guideline tab toolbar

• The left hand pointing arrow takes you ultimately to the main Guideline Index screen. Both the left and the right pointing arrow will navigate back and forth through guidelines used in this session.
• Open Plan - Displays the Select Guideline by Mnemonic screen, with the option to select another guideline.
• Guideline red book icon - Clicking on this will open the Guideline index, ie one created for practice use or by a user. Double click on a line to view on screen.
• Expand All - Expand the lines of the currently selected report, merging in the details of the currently selected patient. NB - do NOT use this when you have only the Index displayed, but it will take hours to expand all the text in all the guidelines!
• Collapse All - Collapse the lines of the currently selected guideline or report.
• Font - Enlarge or Reduce size of text, but only for this consultation.
• Go - Perform a selected action, for instance, to print patient advice, click once in the section to block highlight it, then Go.
• Print option - First highlight the report you want, and either Expand the lines, or select Print Hidden Lines. This prints the report including the currently selected patient's details.
• Add this guideline as a .gif attachment in Attachment Add (this can then be attached to, for example, a referral letter)

Adding new Guidelines Tabs

You can add any number of tabs for different guidelines, using Data View Pane Options - Organise Tabs - Add - Guideline View.

Each newly added tab goes to the bottom of the list - we strongly recommend that you move each new guideline tab up the list, leaving the original Guideline at the bottom of the list (so that it appears on the far right when viewing the patient Record). This suits the system better as it is expecting to open Management Plans in this tab.
