Changing Organ Consent Details

If a patient changes their mind about the organs they wish to donate or wish to give consent after previously refusing, do the following:

Note - If a patient wants to completely withdraw their consent for organ donation, you cannot do this in Vision 3. Your patient's must record their withdrawal at https://www.organdonationscotland.org/.
  1. From Registration, select Select Patient and find the patient required.
  2. Select Action - Voluntary Consent to Organ Donation:

  3. The Registration - Voluntary Consent to Organ Donation screen displays:

  4. Tick or untick organs as required by patient consent.
  5. Select OK to save.

The details are transmitted via (Undefined variable: General.Registration Links).

Note - If the patient is frozen, locked by another user or you do not have the required security rights in Registration, you cannot amend the organ donation preferences.
Important - The link to the PSD is a one way link, if you record your patient's consent and they then update their consent via https://www.organdonationscotland.org/ Vision 3 is not updated to reflect this change.
