Patient Reports Overview

With a patient selected, using Patient Reports can produce a quick report of the patient's clinical data, in a user-definable format. These can run quickly from Consultation Manager without the need to go to Search and Reports.

Standard reports, such as the Encounter Form, can either be viewed or printed; or you can create your own report headings, choosing which patient details are shown on the report for the currently selected patient, or for a group of patients.

For example, you may want a report that resembles the Encounter Form but modified to include only the last five medical history entries; or you may want to customise a form which you can take with you on house visits (see Patient Reports and Guidelines Maintenance about creating new reports).

Headings within the report can be filtered by age and sex, so that, for instance, cervical cytology headings do not appear on male patient reports.
