Extra Indicators

Vision+ provides Extra Indicators which are used by the practice for recall purposes. Extra Indicators help the practice monitor the QOF disease category recalls. These Extra Indicators allow call/recall for the purposes of monitoring, assessments, annual reviews etc. If the category already has a review as part of the QOF then that one should be used. As with other templates, Popup Alert Indicators are available, and patients can be sent letters from the Practice Reports screen.

Extra Indicators

In addition the template can be accessed just like any other QOF template. This is done from the QOF templates list on the main Vision+ menu or via the Vision+ icon. The data can be input through the standard Read code data entry screen.

Note - To view popup alert indicators for the extra indicators, the Extra Indicators setting must be enabled in the Settings screen.
