Weight/Height Add screens - How to display

First select a patient and start a consultation.To enter a weight or height record and display the Addscreen by one of the following methods:

  1. Either select Add - Weight or Add - Height.
  2. Or point to a Weight or Height entry on one of the screens listed below, clicking the right mouse button and selecting either Add; or Item View to display a previous entry; or Edit if amending it.
  3. From the navigation pane (Medical Records Overview column) on the Patient Record (press F10), right mouse click on one of the following lines, selecting either Summary, Data Grid or Management Plan:
    • Examination Findings
    • Well Person Clinic
    • HP Interventions
    • Maternity
    • New Registration Exam
  4. Or select Summary, then either Health Promotion or Prevention Display , or Summary - Examination Findings/Physiological Measurements.
  5. Or from the navigation pane, right mouse click on one of the above lines with the left mouse - the entries are shown chronologically under the Filtered tab.
  6. From Optionson MRO column (Consultation View menu), Examination - Physiological Measurements.
  7. If there are any previous Weight or Height records, select List - Weight or List - Height. Note that on the Height List, if the patient is less than 17 years old, a Centile prompt displays for READ codes 6471.-6478.

Graph - Note that where there is a weight or height entry on a form or List screen, you can point to an entry, click with the right mouse button and select Graph.

Note - The Weight and height are both used to calculate the patient's BMI. The height record is used to calculate Predicted Peak flow.
