Recording Consent Prior to the Initial Upload

Patient Consent can be recorded prior to the Initial Upload. There are two places that consensual status can be recorded - either under Preference in the Patient Details tab or by entering a Read code. When the Initial Upload is run, a SCR is created and sent to the Spine for all eligible patients. The Initial Upload contains core data only. If the patient has consented to additional information, this is added to the SCR when the patient is next selected in Consultation Manager.
