New, Copy, Edit, View, Delete Guidelines and Reports

The Reports and Guideline Index already include templates for several standard reports, including an Encounter Report, History reports, Therapy reports and so on. Your practice can modify or create your own reports. You cannot directly edit reports beginning R_ in their mnemonic but you can copy and amend them.

You can edit local guidelines. If the guideline is issued by Vision, it may be advisable to copy the guideline and rename it, rather than altering the original.

1. Choose Guidelines- Select Guideline and display the Select Guideline by Mnemonic screen.
2. To create a new guideline or report, click on New - you do not need to display the Guideline or Report Index first.
3. Two examples are given in Quick Summary - Add a new Report, and Quick Summary - Add a new Guideline. Use these quick references as overall guides to setting up new guidelines or reports, then look at other sections to expand your knowledge.
