Staff Configuration Utility
Staff Configuration Utility(Staff Maintenance Utility) - This option is available to system supervisors only and provides a quick way to update users or workstations, without having to either call up each individually, or move around the practice.
Click Config , or Actions - Staff Config.
This is a tabbed screen which allows you to do quick updates of various functions.
- From lists of staff, you can quickly update the GMC code and the GP Code, inactivate or activate – all activities normally carried out in File Maintenance – Staff, per member of staff.
- Set practice-wide registration default options.
- From a list of workstations, you can quickly update the Prescription Printers, Drug Label Printers, and Word Processor choice – all functions from Options – Setup (Vision front menu).Note - Changes made in the Configuration screen are practice wide. In order for the changes to take effect, you must log out of the Registration Module.
