Consultation View

The Consultation View screen is an optional additional way to record and summarises data entries made for a particular consultation.

The Consultation View pane is present on Vision 3 Initial views 5, 6, 7 and 8, see Consultation Manager Setup - Patient Record for details.

For problem orientated practices, data within a consultation can be arranged in problems under one or more topics if required.

Note - Topics are only parts of a consultation and do not carry over into future consultations , see Topics Within the Consultation View.

The topic heading defaults to the first clinical term recorded within the topic.

The Consultation View screen can be used as the working screen from which a clinician enters consultation data. The alternative problem-oriented approach groups data into problems which are continued over time, see Problem Orientated Medical Records for details.
