Contraceptive Services - Patient check on oral contraceptives

If you are given a check to the patient on oral contraceptives, but it is not the time to renew the claim:

1. Display the Contraceptive Services-Add screen (see Contraceptive Services - Ways to add if you are not sure).
2. Service READ term - Select, for example, 6145 Oral contraception - no problem, or 6146 Oral contraception - problem (write the problem in free text in the Notes section), or 614E. Pill check.
3. Service Type: Subsequent Service.
4. New Claim Expiry Date: There is no need to enter this date (previously, one year from the Last Claim Expiry Date).
5. Recall - Record a recall as required and tally the prescription quantity accordingly.
