GP Summary Consent Status

For practices in England, the patient can record their preference of either consent or dissent to allow a National Summary of their clinical data to be stored on the spine.

• Change lets you record or change the preference (though this button will be greyed out if you have not started a face-to-face consultation (see Consultation Types). See also Patient Consent or dissent for National Summary.
• Preview lets you or the patient see what initial data will be uploaded to the spine - current repeat master within 18 months, current acute medication in the last 6 months, or any allergies, adverse reactions or intolerances.
