Entering Additional Codes

Additional Read codes are used to help monitor patient annual reviews.

They are displayed on the Alert Indicator screen under the heading Extra Indicators and can be accessed by:

• Double clicking on the line(s) below Extra Indicators
• Highlight the indicator line and choose the Additional icon.
• Right click and choose Additional from the menu.

The Read Code Data Entry screen displays, choose the Read code and click OK.

Note - Additional codes are used internally by the practice to improve patient care and do not count towards QOF. Extra Indicators is a user specific setting.
