Repeat Masters on the De-registration of Patients

Automatic Inactivation of Repeats

A patient transferring out of your practice has all of their active Repeat Masters automatically inactivated when deducting them in Registration Links. The inactivation reason defaults to Patient de-registered.

Note - This does not apply to Batch repeats, Repeat Dispensing or CMS Repeats (Scotland) they must continue to be inactivated manually.

Patient Locked

  • Registration Links - If the patient's record is locked whist deducting their record in Registration Links, the following message displays: 'Deduction succeeded for this patient, but this application was unable to check for or inactivate any active repeats. If this is the case you need to manually de-activate the repeat(s).'
  • Security Deduct - If the patient's record is locked whilst processing a Security Deduction, the following message displays: 'Security Deduct succeeded for this patient, but this application was unable to check for or inactivate any active repeats. If this is the case you need to manually deactivate the repeat(s).'
