New Registration Examination

When a new patient over five years old has registered, a new registration examination can be carried out, though a new registration fee can no longer be claimed. You can reach the New Registration form:

  1. From Summary – Routine Checks – New Registration (or Alt-S, U, R), to display the Summary Form
  2. From the navigation pane (Medical Records Overview column) on the PatientRecord, click on the New RegistrationExamline with the right mouse, and select eitherSummary, Data Grid orManagement Plan.
  3. Or from the navigation pane, click on the New Registration Examline with the left mouse so the entries are shown chronologically under the Filtered tab.

New Registration Management Plan – Click on the row New Registration Consultation and select who the patient was seen by, and any addition free text notes.

The New Registration Examinationscreen has two tabbed sections: Background, Assessment. The Background screen has entries for Occupation (select from the READ dictionary), Exercise, Diet, Concerns, and Allergy/Intolerance.

The Assessment screenhas entries for New RegistrationConsultation, and an entry can be generated here for an Items of Service claim, if the practice has linked Items of Service software (see below). There are also entries for Weight and Height, BP (see BP and Hypertension section), Alcohol, Smoking, Urine - glucose/protein (don't forget to select the Result qualifier), and Advicegiven
