Examination Findings/Physiological Measurements

You can use the Examination Findings Summary or Data Grid screen to record data on the following:

Temperature, Weight, Weight loss, Height, Waist Circumference, Blood Pressure, Postural drop in blood pressure, Target blood pressure, Ankle Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI), Pulse (CVS/BP), Pretreatment BP (CVS/BP), Heart examination, Jugular Venous Pressure, Foot pulse left leg, Foot pulse right leg, Pulse oximetry, Foot care, Peripheral oedema, Ankle neuropathy, Tactile Sensation, Visual acuity Left eye, Visual acuity Right eye, Fundoscopy, PF current, Respiratory rate, Breast Examination, Pelvic Examination.

Note that the Examination Findings Management Plan does not have entries for Weight Loss, Target BP, Pretreatment BP (CVS/BP), Waist Circumference, Breast Examination, Pelvic Examination, Tactile Sensation.

The Examination Findings screen was previously called Physiological.

Examination Findings can be displayed either as a Management Plan or a Summary Form. It shows the latest records for blood pressure, height and weight and the resulting BMI.

From the navigation pane (Medical Records Overview column) on the Patient Record, click on the Examination Findings line with the right mouse, and select either Summary, Data Grid or Management Plan. If you click on ExaminationFindings line on the navigation pane, existing entries are shown chronologically under the Filtered tab.
