Copying and Amending Existing Management Plans

Some Management Plans and data grids are pre-defined and included with your system. You may edit, or copy and amend them if you wish WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE ASTHMA AND DIABETES MANAGEMENT PLANS – PLEASE DO NOT EDIT THESE though you may copy them and rename them for your own use. These Management Plans are distributed by Vision and new versions will overwrite existing ones, so your changes will be lost.

You can also create your own data grids.

1. Go to Guidelines - Select Guideline.
2. Select Locally generated. Click in the Mnemonic window and press Return to list locally generated guidelines and the Management Plans. These start with @ in their title, for example:
   • @BC1 : Biochemistry Management Plan
   • @JABS : (immunisation Management Plan
   • @MROMAT : Maternity Management Plan
   • @CHRONIC: Disease Registers Management Plan
3. Either highlight one, click on Edit, then at the Header – Update screen, check the Triggering Read Terms are as you want them, then click on OK; or click on New to create a new Management Plan.
4. At the Management plan screen, click on Design mode .
