Include a Local Guideline in the Guidelines Index

U_INDEX: Local Guideline Index. The Local Guideline Index is shown by default on a Vision 3 view of the Patient Record under the Guidelines tab. Initially, this Local Guideline Index is empty and needs local guidelines added to it.

To include a local guideline in the Local Guideline Index:

1. Select Guidelines – Select Guidelines and type in U_Index, press Enter then click on View. This displays the Local Guidelines Index.
2. Go into design mode .
3. Click on Embed a guideline from the floating toolbar.
4. At the Select Guideline screen, leave Locally generated checked, and uncheck Centrally issued and Reports. Press Enter in the Mnemonic window to list all local guidelines.
5. Find a local guideline you want included in the local reports index, and click to highlight it and click on OK. A new line will be added to the Local Reports Index screen.
6. Press Save and Close .

U_INDEX – the Local Guideline index which lists local guidelines, those your practice have created or imported.

Note - The first line is Local Reports Index (U_REPORTS).
