Select Guideline as a Management Plan

Certain pre-defined guidelines can be displayed as Management Plans on the Guidelines tab of the Patient Record. These are guidelines in grid format.

Right click on one of the following lines on the left-hand navigation pane, and right click, selecting Management Plan. Management plans include:

Drug Allergies and Adverse Reactions, Recalls and Reviews, Patient Preference, Medical History, Therapy, Lifestyle, Examination Findings, Immunisations, Miscellaneous, All Test Results (Pathology and X-rays), New Registration Exam, Child Health Surveillance, Maternity, Well Person Clinic, Health Promotion Interventions, Elderly, Disease Registers, Asthma, Diabetes, CV or Hypertension, Epilepsy, Death Administration

However, if you have invoked other guidelines for a patient in the consultation, you can also view these within Management by using the red book and arrow icons on the Management Plan toolbar.

For more information, refer to the section on Patient Data Grid and Management Plans.

Note - When you display Management Plans under the Management tab on Patient Record, if you are only seeing three columns of data, then your video resolution may need changing if set to 640 x 480. A resolution of 800 x 600 displays 5 columns initially. On a 17 inch monitor, the resolution is normally 1028 x 768 and eight columns will be visible. If you display a Management Plan full screen from Guideline – Select Guideline – eg, @ELDERLY, then the number of visible columns rises to eleven. Obviously there will be a maximum resolution depending on the VDU in use.
