Guidelines Tab
The Guidelines tab initially shows the Local Guideline index. If you have not yet set up an index, it reminds you to do so: Local Guideline Index – This guideline should be edited to create your own practice specific index. See the user guide or online help for instructions.

because this expands not just the index, but all the guideline text as well, which may take some hours!To select a guideline, click once on a blue heading to expand any guidelines in that category, then double click on the guideline you want. See Local Guidelines.
For Views that have a navigation pane (ie other than Initial Views 1-3), you can right click on some lines (eg, Lifestyle, Asthma, Diabetes etc) and select Management Plan (see Management Plans Management Plans). This is then displayed in the Guidelines tab (as long as there is no other Guidelines tab which has been set up to the right; ie always make sure if altering your Patient Record with a second Guideline tab that the main, original Guidelines tab is on the far right).
