Vaccination Claims Scotland

This Excel report compiles the number of specific vaccinations, to help practices in Scotland complete the Quarterly and Annual Vaccinations Claims.

Included vaccinations are:

  • Influenza
  • Pneumococcal
  • Shingles
  • Pertussis
  • Men ACWY
  • MenB

You may choose to run an Annual or Quarterly report, different vaccinations appear on each. These options will automatically change the date range, but this date range may also be entered manually after making your choice of either annual or quarterly.

Once the Excel report runs it provides counts and evidence lists that may be emailed to the local regional office.

The report only counts vaccinations given in practice and does not include any OHP or Pharmacy immunisations.

There is an "Unaccounted" column which displays the number of vaccinations outside an age range and therefore will not be counted.

Each vaccination type is listed on separate sheets.

Any changes made to the evidence sheets will alter the counts.

Updates

  • Updated: 07/03/2018 to V2.0 (reference a request from NHS Highland eHealth Department)
    • The patient age is now calculated from a cell on the README sheet, which will default to the 31st March each year, but may be changed to suit.
    • Shingles Catch-up Cohort has been changed to those Aged 76y
    • 2 additional Shingles mop up cohorts have been included from previous years for patients aged between 71-74 and 77-79
    • Duplicate immunisations are now removed automatically. Unless there are 2 stages as in Intranasal and MenB
