DLM 480 (Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) (19/05/2015)

  • Vision Apps - We have created the following new Vision apps which can be accessed via Consultation Manager or the new Apps Controller module:
  • Patient Diary
  • Clinical Document Viewer
  • Patient Overview
  • COPD Management

  • Apps Changes - We have updated the following existing Vision Apps:
  • Patient Overview - Now displays Read Code 915L - Patient door access key code within Access Information on the demographics tab, see Patient Overview App for details.
  • Home Visit Summary and Medications List Shortened - The display of Repeat Medications is now limited to Active Repeat Masters and a new section has been created for medication prescribed (as Repeats) outside the practice, see Home Visit Summary for details
  • Management Plans and Child Centiles - These apps have been updated to enable full printing facilities.
  • Test result tool tips - If you opt to switch the option on, when you hover your mouse over a pathology result in the patient record view a Test Result Tool Tip is now displayed. See Test Result Tooltips and Tooltips.
  • Test Result Unit of Measure - There are new units of measure available from the Unit of Measure list within the Test Result SDA's.
  • Viewing Test Result Details from the right click menu - Source/Action replaces Source. If you select the Source/Action option on a test result the Actions tab from Mail Manager displays by default. See Test Tab.
  • Scoring Test Result SDA - Read codes starting 38G - Additional miscellaneous scales have been updated to file directly into the Scoring Test Result SDA. This includes Read codes added via Vision+ forms.
  • Family History SDA - Additional Diabetes Read codes have been added to the Family History structured data area (SDA).
  • Family History SDA - The issue with Read codes 122B1 No FH of breast cancer meeting NICE CG164 referral criteria, 122Q.00 No family history of Parkinson's disease and 12A5.00 FH Retinitis pigmentosa not filing properly into the Family History structured data area (SDA) has been addressed.
  • MED3 - If Refrain from Work is unchecked For and Until are now disabled. See Electronic MED3 Doctor’s Statement.
  • Duplicate entries - The intermittent issue with duplicate comments displaying in Journal has been addressed.
  • Vision Apps - The issue of data being added, edited or deleted within Vision Apps not immediately updating the patient Journal has been addressed, when you add, edit or delete from a Vision App the patient record is updated immediately.

Immunisations

  • Type of Immunisation - Within the Add Immunisation SDA a filter is now available to 'Display the current vaccine list only' this is selected by default, tick Show All to display all current and historical immunisations entries. See Add Vaccination/Immunisation.
  • Meningitis B Vaccination - The new Meningitis B vaccination has been added to the Immunisation structured data area (SDA). See Type of Immunisation.
  • Meningitis C Vaccination - The Read code for the third meningitis C vaccine within the Immunisation SDA has been updated to 657S. Booster meningitis C vaccination. See Type of Immunisation.
  • Single Stage Hepatitis and Typhoid Immunisations - When adding single stage Hepatitis and Typhoid immunisations, both combined and individual you must select '1st' from the Stage list. See Type of Immunisation.
  • Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) Vaccination - The HPV vaccination has been updated to a two stage vaccination providing the course is commenced before the patient's 15th birthday. See Type of Immunisation.
  • Typhoid Vaccination - Typhoid vaccination stages and their related Read codes have been updated to stage 1 and booster. See Type of Immunisation.
  • Single Stage Immunisations - The issue that results in an error message being displayed when adding a single-stage immunisation to a patient has been resolved.

Therapy

  • Drug Allergy/Sensitivities Warning - The colour of the Drug Sensitivity warnings, triggered from adding a new therapy, has been updated to ensure it stands out from other drug warnings. See Drug Allergy/Insensitivity Warning.
  • Reauthorise as Repeat Dispensing (Wales and Northern Ireland - for Scotland see CMS) - We have created a new Reauthorise as Repeatable option in the therapy screen which enables you to turn existing repeat items into repeat dispensing items (also known as Batch and Repeatable). The new functionality is similar to bulk reauthorisation and allows you to multi-select repeat items but processes each item sequentially so you have an opportunity to review the repeat before it is added as a repeat dispensing item. Scotland

  • ECS Summary Management - Current Medication wording has been updated to reflect the data changes made in DLM 460. See Emergency Care Summary.
  • ECS Status - Patients who do not have a Permanent registration status, and are therefore not eligible for ECS, now have grey traffic lights displayed within the Emergency Care Summary Management screen. See Summary and Consent Status.
  • ECS Summary Management - Read code 915L.00 Patient door access key code, has been added to the Patient Access.
  • ECS Consent - The ECS consent status for patients that transfer out and then re-register at your practice now automatically reverts to 'implied consent'. It is recommended that you run the ECS consent utility after receiving DLM 480 even if you have previously run the utility. See ECS Consent Utility Guide.
  • ECS Management Summary - When Palliative Care Plan dates are updated they are now displayed correctly on the KIS screen.
  • Mail Gateway - The Tasks, BOSS, SCCRS, DC, ECS tabs now populate and display correctly.
  • SCI Pathology - The issue of SCI pathology not working for the second practice in the list, if you have multiple store selected, has been resolved.
  • SCCRS - The issue that resulted in you being unable to action SCCRS messages over 40 characters has been addressed.

ePharmacy Scotland - CMS

  • Bulk Reauthorise as CMS - There is a new function to enable you to bulk select repeat items which need to be reauthorised as CMS. See Turn Repeat Masters into CMS Items.
  • Populate CMS Suitability - Now allows you to mark patients as either suitable or unsuitable for CMS within a specific patient group. See Group Populating Patients Suitable or Unsuitable for eCMS.
  • CMS Single dispensing for 24 and 48 week prescriptions - You can now select a dispensing frequency of 24 or 48 weeks for 24 or 48 medication terms. See Adding a CMS Prescription.
  • CMS Prescription Dates - The date printed on a CMS script is now the date on which it was printed, not the date on which it was added.
  • CMS Items in Full Patient Reports - The issue of CMS items not displaying accurately in the Full patient report has been addressed.

Wales

  • WCCG Referrals Long Drug Names - We have identified an issue with long drug names being truncated when performing WCCG referrals. This has now been addressed and the full name is now sent.
  • WCCG Referrals Long Phone Numbers - The issue regarding phone and mobile number exceeding 35 characters in length causing errors has been addressed, any number over this value is now truncated. If truncated the entry is suffixed [...].

Northern Ireland

  • eMED3 - Practices in Northern Ireland can now print, create issued by hand and duplicate forms for eMed3s. See Electronic MED3 Doctor’s Statement.
