Repeats

  • Initial Repeat View - Choose how the Repeat Therapy screen is initially displayed and which master lines are listed:
  • By Role - the default, so the display depends on whether you are a clinician or member of staff. Prescribers (the doctors) can reauthorise prescriptions and can view expired items. The other options are:
  • Active (All) - displays all valid and expired repeats which have not been inactivated.
  • Active (In Practice) - displays valid and expired repeats issued by the practice which have not been inactivated.
  • All - displays repeats which can be issued, and their former expired repeat lines.
  • Expired - displays those needing reauthorising before items can be issued.
  • Valid - displayscurrent medication list of repeats.
  • Old Repeat Offset - A period of time can be entered here: type in a period, such as 6M for six months, and press Enter. If a repeat master has not been issued during this time, the date will appear in red on the left-hand column in the Repeat Master screen (see List Repeat Masters Therapy).
  • Enable Inactivation/Reactivation Reason - Tick to enable the selection of up to five cancellation/reauthorisation reasons.
  • Repeats Interval (in Scotland this is called Review Interval) - This defaults to 28 days but can be updated as required.
