Nurse Prescribing Changes in DLM 237 (summer 2007)

• 2D barcoded prescriptions can now be printed in Wales and Northern Ireland.
• In Northern Ireland, nurses and supplementary prescribers need to set up Printer Profiles using prescription stationery HS21N or HS21X.
• In Wales, nurses and supplementary prescribers do not need to set up a separate profile and can use the GP profile for prescription settings. An S prints in the bottom right-hand corner of the WP10 to denote a nurse prescription.
