Set up organisations to which referrals are to be made

All organisations to which referrals are to be made, including consultants, departments, hospitals, clinics – should be added in the Control Panel - File Maintenancemodule under Organisations. Make sure the Provider box is ticked to ensure this organisation appears on the picklist in Referrals Add.

Also add any Departmentsand Consultants for hospitals and clinics.

A useful tip is to include the most used hospitals at the top of the Referrals picklist. To do this, when in Organisation, place a fullstop before the hospital name, eg ".St Marks" which will then place it at the top of the list. You could do two or three providers in such a way.
