Listing Recalls

Recalls are listed on the Journal under Description with a Recall icon followed y "Recall on [due date] for [recall trigger, eg O/E - blood pressure reading] with [clinician name]." The Date column reflects the date the recall was made, not the due date.

You can list a patient's recalls in various ways:

  • From the Alerts pane under the navigation pane, by double clicking on the Recall icon.
  • or by selecting List - Recalls;
  • or on the navigation pane, click on the plus next to the Recall and Reviews line, then click on the plus next to Recall to display a list under the Filtered tab. Existing recalls are arranged into two categories: Active (which includes outstanding recalls, both not yet due and overdue), and Inactive (which includes Completed recalls, Cancelled recalls, and Outstanding inactive recalls created with the installation of DLM 280). You can click on one of these to filter out the other recall status and list on the Filtered tab.

To view the content of a recall, point to the recall, for example from the Journal or Filtered tab, click with the right mouse button, and select Item View (for display only) or Edit.

To re-display any recall letter, click on the ticked letter icon . Select File, Exitwhen finished, then Close.

The recall due dates for smears, contraception and blood pressure are prominently displayed ontheir entries, eg on the Journal or Filtered tab. Other recalls are worded

Select Show Alerts for a list of any current recalls due next month. You can point to a line and click with the right mouse button for the usual options of Item View, Add, Edit etc.
